No, thats saying "I dont need to watch a movie to know I will like it since the trailer, reviews, and clips are enough to tell me if I will like it or not".

I dont need to see Twilight to know I will not like it.

MarioBr1,

I had the intention to create a thread for the hardware and a thread for the games. But the rules forced these threads to be merged together.

So the thread is to give opinions on the hardware and the games. That's not what I've intended, but that's how it is.

However, there's still some sort of separation between the hardware and the games. The poll on the top is about the hardware and the hardware only. If you want to rate the games, it happens on different polls you can find by clicking a link in the OP.

Also, I was expecting ratings and opinions from people who own a PS Vita and who've played games on theirs, not "impressions" like you've done. Also, I thought this forum was mature enough to not vote 0 by trolling/fanboyism, but I was wrong. I'm not implying that the community is a bunch of freaking kids, but I apparently overestimated it a little bit.

So yeah, anyway. The poll's for the hardware and there are polls for games. Don't vote if you don't own a Vita. Don't vote if you haven't played it. Don't vote by basing on impressions. Please.

You didn't read the OP. It clearly states the above poll is for the hardware and the poll for the games is here: Safe Mode Preference - Mister Poll

For the games poll, if you want to access it, disable the Safe Mode when the website ask you about it. The poll is safe anyway.

I preordered it today, and after the fact played with it at the kiosk. Here are a couple of my observations.
1. Screen is bigger and crisper than I would have thought.
2. Joysticks rang of motion is smaller than that of controllers or even the 3ds, but very comfy and high quality. Works great for the demos I tried.
3. Graphics are incredible, but no where near ps3 like some people have been saying.
4. Touch screen doesn't always register.

Vita launched in Singapore today!
They had a set for about

$489
which includes 2 games ( UMvC3 and UC : Golden Abyss)
- Vita Accessory pack
- 4GB Memory card

Tried playing it for quite a while ( Actually just about 5 minutes)
Good device
And as always UC games are fun ( i cant say much, i only played 5 minutes )
Not many people at the launch store today

I would give a 9 , mostly for the hardware

Now that I actually have a Vita and have spent many hours with it I felt the right to vote. I gave it a 7. Now when you say hardware I don't know if you mean the firmware and preloaded apps itself or anything like that but I'll just base it on the basic system overall. Now the system design is pretty good, only gripe is the speakers but I can avoid blocking them if I think about it. I also had my Vita freeze up on my briefly after like an hour of owning it but haven't had any issues since. Onscreen keyboard could be a bit bigger but it's doable. It's a pretty sturdy system with some good features.

I'm actually pretty curious about the longterm usage of the vita. I bought a psp right at the start, and I regretted it very much tbh. So hope more user experiences will be coming .

Read that the firmware(menus/homescreen) was sucky. Can anyone comment on that?
