I just played the demo for the game and it was a little easy I want to know will the actual game be harder or will it get harder eventually plus on a scale of 1 to 5 1 being the difficulty the demo is 5 is hard core what is guys tell me.

Well the full game will have a choice of about 6-7 difficulty settings.
Very easy
Easy
Normal
Hard
Very hard
Extreme
European extreme

Each one is a little harder than the other. I can personally say, if you've never played MGS before then you won't be able to beat it on extreme for a while. You may trudge through it, but youll constantly be stuck due to the difficulty. One of the difficulties has it set to where it is game over if you are spotted. This may not sound hard, but trust me it really really is.
I would give the hardest difficulty a 5 all the way. I promise.

The demo doesn't actually show you the true grit of MGS. The part that you are allowed to play is only the prologue to the actual mission.

It would probably take about 15 hours on extreme

And of course once you finish the game you can always do things like no gun runs, no lethal runs, etc.

If you want about a three I would go with hard. Mostly because I feel that hard is the perfect balance between easy an extreme.
Very hard would be about 3.75 there isn't much of a difference between thos two settings.

I am only basing this off of the past MGS games which all had the same settings

Oh one more thing I have over protective parents (I know right) they won't let me play M rated games because I'm 14, but I do play 999, fable, crysis, and dad bought me halo so basically average violence is okay average swearing is fine mild gore is fine nudity and sexuality are not okay anything listed above thats higher than mild or average is not okay alcohol is okay so what i need is a small lecture (about 3 or 4 sentences) of why it is okay for me to play it. thanks

I think you'll be alright. Pretty sure there isn't any nudity, and little to no swearing in MGS3.
