The only control related issues I heard about were for sensitivity, which is completely adjustable. Not only that it may have been addressed in the many updates they released.

Mmh, maybe "suck ass" was exaggerating, but they feel rigid and floaty to me.

Same here. I'd heard a lot of people complain about the shooter controls, too, but they were just fine for me (making the sections that you were actually shooting pretty fun).

Uncharted: Golden Abyss has 200ms of movement lag

Just sayin'.

But the shooting is not my problem anyway.

Sony cancelled an unannounced Vita game made by former LittleBigPlanet developers:

Sony Cancels Former LittleBigPlanet Developers' Vita Game - Push Square

Sony Cancels Former LittleBigPlanet Developers' Vita Game
Mismatch of expectations

A team comprised of former LittleBigPlanet developers has turned to Kickstarter following the cancellation of its first PlayStation Vita project. Ambient Studios – which was founded in 2011 – had been working on a Sony-funded handheld title for a year before the platform holder decided to pull the plug.

“We'd been working on the [Vita] game for about a year,” Jonny Hopper, who worked on the original LittleBigPlanet’s user creation tools, told Eurogamer.net. “Eventually it came to a mismatch of expectations of what we wanted to deliver and what we could deliver and what they wanted. So near the end of last year they pulled the funding plug unfortunately.”

It’s unclear what the title was about, but the team were understandably devastated by the cancellation. “We were really gutted,” he continued. “It was a bit of a shocker. But these things happen. That's game development. Games get canned all the time.”

Ambient Studios is currently seeking crowd-funding for its PC-based strategy title, Death Inc. It also intends to announce a self-funded iPad game in the coming weeks. Asked whether the team could finish the Vita title in the future, Hopper was reluctant to make any promises. “We don't really want to right now,” he said. “Financially it wouldn't work for us.”

And another one bites the dust.
Pretty disappointed (though we didn't even know about the game) because a new IP + the Vita + people who worked on LBP sounds like it would be a really cool thing to have, especially that far into its development cycle.
I don't know I just don't see why Sony would cancel an all-new Vita game when it's that far along in development. If it's to allocate money to another new game, that's awesome, but it means it won't be there for a while and the Vita could use a game like this right now.

That's crappy news Yanikun. I really love the Vita, it doesn't deserve the fate of the Dreamcast.

Also, has anyone downloaded that free minigame compilation? Frosher says or some such? My 4gig is filled with Gravity Rush, Wipeout and RCR(still refuse to pay for a higher priced memory card) but whenever I delete something, just wondering if it's worth a look.

I really think Vita needs a big E3 this year, I love this machine but with pokemon officially on the way for 3ds, the vita needs a title that is gonna sell. Monster hunter 4 and pokemon are going to be a huge draw for 3ds

^ I think if sony handles it right Soul Sacrifice could be the game that sells the vita. However giving sony's resent track record of failing to sell there at times amazing exclusives does not bode well. Simply making great games is not enough, one also has to market them if they expect it to sell the device.

Also that test to measure input lag is a hilariously inaccurate way of measuring and should not be treat as fact.

This is how I'm feeling right now. With the announcement of Pokemon X/Y for the 3DS, my excitement for the system is back where it was back in 2011, and my Vita will most likely sit up for quite some time once it's out.

I only wish the Assassin's Creed III bundle still included the memory card at GameStop. I get paid tomorrow and I'm currently looking for a Nexus 7, but none of the stores close to me seem to have them in-stock. I was thinking about getting a PS Vita instead, but I won't have enough for the bundle and the memory card seperately. First World problems, eh? :c

How many of you guys suffer from the black splotches problem? I just recently found out OLED tech has this as a common side effect, and it seems a number of vita users are effected.
