I love the Pokemon games. They're the only games that I always play every time a new one comes out. One of the things I absolutely LOVE about them is the wireless distribution of Pokemon through retailers and such.

That is why I'm just a teensy bit irritated that the Mewtwo giveaway doesn't work with Diamond, Pearl, Platinum, HeartGold, and SoulSilver. It seems that ever since Black & White came out, they've forgotten about the excellent Generation IV. It's like they don't care about the high-grossing games that people have loved for the past 4.5 years.

Does this irritate anyone else?

No, it makes sense for the company to focus more on a new game then old games.

Uh, No, that's like complaining about how they don't have Pokemon events for Ruby/Sapphire anymore.

kinda,i didnt know it wouldnt work for HG and SS. Thats pretty dumb. They came out kinda recently (2010 is recent really but its not old) They should atleast make it work with HG,SS,black and white.

It makes sense to me. I think since the new games bring new mechanics and stats, it would only be natural to do events for the new games.....

I do wish, though, that pokemon could be about battling with your favorite pokemon again instead of using the best ones with EVs/IVs...

Ignoring the fact that there's no need for continued support of the games because they've had their run, the event Mewtwo has moves introduced in Gen 5.

Speaking of Pokemon and the various gens. Anyone else find it strange that they released Black and White in the same month as the 3DS and yet they weren't made for the 3DS?

Have the next gen pokemon games as launch games would have netted them an ass load of sales.

Not to sound like a jerk with this comparison, but that's like complaining about Nintendo for not supporting the NES anymore with some new games. Complaining about not getting support, because for some reason they're not up to date with modern games is just silly. LOL, I was on Youtube two weeks ago, and I remember a comment from some casual asking if the new Mortal Kombat was on the PS2, because he liked it, and was thinking of getting it.
