| And I also miss how mario games were challenging. No there more competitive than anything. Such as coin rush. They make mario games so short now and not that hard. The last 2 mario games that was hard was 3d land and paper mario sticker star. Not so much as sticker star, but it did stump me a lot of times, and you may say that mario galaxy was hard, well ya but there were only a few good mario games in the last past years. Like I said, nintendo is making them more competitive than anything. Last edited by DRYBONES296; 12-04-2012 at 01:38 AM. |

Probably there is nothing I really feel its been missing from games. Though I am disappointed about two main things. First, people whining about new games, any new game/sequel that comes out. I certainly appreciate old classic titles and nostalgia factors but now this is a bit overdone. Whenever you want to claim that you are original, do not act only by just sticking to older stuff, you have to welcome change and keep the values and the old memories and of course to be loyal to it. Second and most importantly, our overall learning process is on a decrease. We play games and learn nothing from the plot, which intends to pass some good values to our personalities.

I miss when developers tried new things and ideas, instead of the same ol' regurgitated crap we receive now. Indie developers are exactly what gaming was back in the day.

I remember when gamers played games for fun, and didnt bish about graphics, which console is more powerful, the lack of voice chat, GOTY's, GPU's/CPU's, HD...

| But what's there to miss if there's indie developers actually DOING it?

I kind of miss how things were back when I wasn't a complete internet addict. I didn't care or complain about things like, game/console prices, what they're lacking compared to other consoles, release dates, graphics, game content, like judging a game's worth on how much content and replayability it has, etc. Things like that never used to matter, I'd just buy (or ask my parents for games) any game that looked like something I'd enjoy and be happy with it.
