- Animal Villagers that are even more repetitive and can only be talked to when they want to talk to you (in other words, when they get that exclamation point above their heads and run to you)
- Grass wear that is instantaneously visible after running and can never be fixed.
- GCN house size without basement
- Pattern making that can only be done on the top screen, so no touch screen
- A mayor feature which allows you to set when every holiday is and when every special visitor visits but nothing beyond that.
- Outdoor furniture is outrageously expensive and even more limited than Doubutsu no Mori e+.

PLEASE don't call it Jump Out! It's almost as bad as "Let's Go To The City!"

Not to mention the announcement of the release date. That should have been done already. It's sad when, even though we've been waiting nearly two years for the game, they can't even announce a release date. Meanwhile, games like Mario Tennis Open are getting released 4 to 5 months after it's announcement.

That could be a good thing... It means they are putting a lot of time into it and they don't want to rush it, but I see your point behind your statement

What do I want to see at e3?
-A good use of town gates and the join button.
-Larger towns (possibly multiple sections)
-More items, neighbors, flowers, etc.
-The ability to make your own AC character that you can change the eyes, mouth, etc. at will.

Or it could mean nothing more than Nintendo wants to release more Mario games. I doubt it's taken them this long to develop Animal Crossing.

I'm hoping that Nintendo realizes that Animal Crossing is highly anticipated and gives it a proper e3 on-stage unveiling, and WON'T hide Animal Crossing at the back of the line because of the very poor fan reaction to the City Folk reveal at e3 '08.

Something's telling me they're just going to expand on the things that we already know (swimming, bee house thingamajigs, house customization, clothing options, etc.)

EDIT: Well, we don't know ALL the stuff we can do with those new features, but I feel they're gonna tell us that stuff -- that's what I meant.

Also forgot a couple of things.

1. I want a more deep material design system. I want the "Pro" design to spread to hats and shoes, not just shirts. And I also want to decide thing like whether or not a shirt it long sleeved or short sleeved, or the shape and size of the hat(instead of just one hat that makes you look like a bull wannabe).

2. I want the train to return and replace the gate.

3. I want a shopping mall instead of a tiny city that looks more like a town.

4. If none of the above, I want a game that introduces something new instead of just a repeated combinement of everything that was already in the previous games.

Don't get me wrong, I adore City Folk. I was just expecting a lot more when I got it. B)
