I was considering attempting to put together a group and get working on a social netorking site for the ds family, or at least dsi and up, I don't like web design and the closest I have gotton to it is learning Ruby on rails (a web frame work)

This is far off now but with members (web developers is what i need, free nintendo lovers with free time and a little skill) and a paid server it could turn out to a nice little site among ds users, as any site it should have

- only enough adds to suport run costs, no profits needed
- a forum simular to 3dsforums.com but a little more free for members
and set topics that are constant, such as help, friend code posts
- friend code chat rooms for certian ds titles, 3ds codes and other software
- more interactions between users
- online stuff, like face book, just not dumb, why would i want to grow corn or visit your farm


would you use such a site?

how would you make such a site if you were a web developer, what features would it have?
how would it be different from other social networking sites?

want to help for no pay and only credit (the worthless kind, peoples knolage you helped)(must have some experience)(no html only coders, thats not coding, thats composing)


also this might be nice because im sure a lot of you are having technical errors with this site or if you have 3mps from your isp (the cheap internet, slower) then you might have internet explorer say (not responding) on almost every page, i know on three different computers, two different operating systems and isp's it runs the same for me, what about you?
