Well, I decided to check in here after a few days of not visiting (sorry about that; I still read all your posts on the blog, David!). Boy, was I surprised to see a fresh, new vBulletin up and running! SOO much better than the old Vanilla Boards or whatever it was you had before!

Anyway, I'll use this as an opportunity to formally introduce myself. As you can tell by my avatar as well as the name of the topic, I am, first and foremost, a Yoshi fan. A very proud one, too. You may have heard of me before especially if you were following Nintendo 3DS Blog during E3 as David graciously published a 5600+ word article I wrote back then (no, that's not a typo). The article compiled several pieces of evidence that revealed the intriguing (and likely) possibility that we may be getting a new Yoshi's Island game on the 3DS.

Other Yoshi-related stuff I do includes fan fiction, forums, and symphonic music. Yes, original orchestral music. Don't see that every day, now do you?

Enough about everyone's favourite green dinosaur. 3DS-wise, I'm also quite involved: I'm the editor over at David's unofficial partner site, Nintendo3DS.org.uk. I'm known as "Peter D." over there, and am best known for my lengthy feature articles (though I still have yet to match that monster I sent to David back in June).

In addition to all that, I also run a small community of my own. At the moment, it's about four times the size of this place, which isn't saying much considering mine's been around since January, but it's a nice place nonetheless to discuss current events, video games, and share art. I sorta like to think of it as the place "where fandoms meet." I've gotten lots of practice modding and administering a forum through those forums, and the few members I have are really good ones, too.

Anyway, long intro aside, you're gonna be hearing more from me! I'm quite passionate about the 3DS and am looking forward to being an active member around here! It's too bad I'm actually leaving for vacation tomorrow, but I thought I would make my presence here known before I did.

Oh yeah, off-topic, but why isn't the [color=#0080FF] BBCode working? I generally always make forum posts in a very specific shade of blue...

I think I can safely say that EVERYONE, to some degree, is a Yoshi fan. Yourself and I may be more so than others, but how could anyone ignore the little guy?

Hey Feld0, glad you re-signed up to these new forums. vBulletin is definitely much nicer than that Vanilla software, and I'm just glad I came to my senses before it was too late. :P

And I disabled most of the BB code simply because people way overuse it (this is coming from long-running experience). I know that's a bit of bummer in some instances, but I think it'll make the discussions more readable in the long run.

Sorry it's been a while since I registered and still haven't posted...I've been busy. I came back here today, though, and much to my surprise, found an incredible new look here! That is one nice skin you've got, David!

Anyway, you can officially consider me here now, though I'm afraid my time on this forum will be somewhat limited; I'm still an active 3DS writer, y'know...
