Name's Joel aka Boxer4 and I am a very excited lurker-turned fellow 3ds forum user!

Now lets get serious.

late last year I attempted suicide, and have been recovering since. Suffice it to say but signing up here is a pretty big deal to me because I've been trying to get out of my introverted "shell" and this the first step.

I'm not sure if this sounds lame or anything, but video games have seriously helped me out in the past few months, helped me get my mind off of the things that had been bringing me down. Not only that but now I'm using video games as my anti-drug. [addiction also factored into the whole suicide thing]

I'm not an attention ***** or anything so please dont get the wrong idea about this post! I just figured that if I'm going to actually put myself out there [even if only online for now] I should explain a little about self--annnnyway I am now kind of rambling.

did I mention its been years since I've been a part of an online community like this one? Haha, just thought i'd mention it cause I dont want to somehow break a forum rule already. I guess I should have probably read them first huh?

Which games are you playing?

oh man, sadly I only had enough $$$ for the 3ds itself, but I've been thinking about getting super street fighter. Got any reccomendations? Going out in a couple of weeks to get my first 3ds game DD

Super street fighter is probably the stand out game from the release titles, and definately the best one I have played.

Plus there are quite a few people on here who play on it online so another great way to interact with people.

Have a look round the site and get some friend codes added to your machine.

Hey hey, Duder! SSFIV is good. If you like Rayman, go for it! It is a quality port of the best Rayman game, 2.

Keeping your head above water can be difficult, but it is never impossible. Just remember that you are never alone in anything unless you choose to be. Even then, friends are always close by.
