Hello all!

My name is Bill. I'm an "old school" gamer, starting back in the Intellivision/Atari era. I put the controller down around the N64/PSone era and picked it back up around the start of the current generation.

I own a DS Lite and a PSP Slim, though I must admit that I'm not much of a handheld gamer. I traded in my Wii and the small stack of Wii games for a 25th Anniversary The Legend of Zelda 3DS, as I'm a huge LoZ fan and I saw a lot of promise in the 3DS. As for console gaming, I'm mainly a Xbox 360 guy (XBL: TheBill1979), but I've also been known to play on my PS3 (PSN: TheBill1979).

My favorite games/franchises include:
Mass Effect
Super Mario Brothers (platformers)
Ratchet and Clank
Shadow of Destiny
Kingdom Hearts
Torchlight (X360)
The Legend of Zelda
Animal Crossing
Puzzle Quest


Other than gaming, I'm a non-gigging musican (bass and guitar). I also write for FileUnderHorrible.com and am the co-host of FUHcast, the podcast of FileUnderHorrible.com.

Hello, I'm Mitch from Phoenix, AZ and another "old school" gamer like Bill from Chicago. BTW Bill, it was nice to hear from another Gamer who remembers the Mattel Intellivision!

I didn't start getting "back" into games until my kids finally were old enough to play. Then I just indulged myself like I was a kid again. I prefer handheld games to consoles since I can pick up and play at any time. While I do own a PS3 and play occasionally, I really like the new Nintendo 3DS and my "old" PSP.

My favorite franchises are:

Final Fantasy
Uncharted
Elder Scrolls
