Hello. I think it's time I stop lurking and join the discussions. I'm a long time Nintendo fan, and I've probably been a gamer since long before many of you were born. (I actually had an original Pong console when I was a kid in the 70's. Yes, I'm old enough to remember those days! )

I have had a Wii for a long time, but didn't get a DS until the DSi came out nearly 2 years ago. I've been hooked ever since, and pretty much always have my DSi near to hand. I recently bought a DSi XL because I wanted the larger screens. My favourite 'game' is drawing on Art Academy which really has me hooked.

Anyway ... I'm looking forward to the 3DS coming out. I can't wait to see what it has to offer.

I've been a gamer since the Atari. But since I played Metroid and Zelda I've been an avid Nintendo fan. The DS was the first system I bought at launch. Nice to have you here! Hope you enjoy your time here!!!

To Nophoria - I haven't really decided what colour 3DS I want. I was hoping they'd come out with red, but I bet if I put off buying one, they'll announce new colours right after I give in and buy what's ever available. So, either colour is fine with me.

I would have pre-ordered red if they had it. I'm getting black but I'll buy red too when it comes out.
