Default Hey everyone!!

Hey all, I'm DaRkMoNkEy. I'm a huge Zelda fan and cannot wait for the OoT remake and Skyward sword this year!!! I joined the forum because I'm really excited for the 3DS and will probably come on daily to see if there are any updates for the system. Also I joined because it'll help pass the time and the 3DS will be here in no time!

Well here are two opinions(well one is an idea) I have about the 3DS:

From the leaks that the chinese worker posted, the 3DS's design does not look very good, and it might prevent me from buying it if it's that bad in person. I loved the matte in the DSi and hate the 3DS glossy look. But this kinda looks blocky and bulky, even though it is said that it is thinner than the DSLite. The system has awkward positioning of parts too, such as that bottom plate that goes around the 3DS(I think its a plate..?), and the positioning of the d-pad, etc.

Also I have a really cool idea for AR on the 3DS, I am so psyched about that feature. What about a real pokemon battle? Like Pokemon Stadium except the pokemon are put into real life with AR.

So heres the full idea: You put the AR card on the table and the 3DS scans it, it then asks you to pick a pokemon from your party(must have game cartridge in 3DS). It will then automatically affiliate that pokemon with the card every time it is scanned, as well as remove the chosen pokemon from the game(read on).The data is also stored on the 3DS memory itself so for future references, the game card will not have to be in the system. Your friend(or opponent), must follow the steps above too and put a card on the table. The 3DS will detect that there are two AR cards on the table, and will ask you which card is yours. The two 3DS's will then communicate with each other using StreetPass and exchange data about each others pokemon and sync the battle. The pokemon then appear from the card's and the battle commences!
Afterward battle information is stored on the 3DS, as well as EXP. The next time the game cartridge is inserted, the system will ask you if you wish to transfer the pokemon back in the game. If you choose yes, the pokemon and any EXP gained will be in the game.

^^^The thought of that makes me so excited and I really hope Nintendo decides to make something like that.

Hmm... I just thought of another idea , Pocket Adventures! Basically its a 3D RPG on your table..lol. You control a guy and you basically just run around the area slaying monsters xD. Hey it could be pretty entertaining if done right, and they could add forests and such.

Just wanted to share some of my thoughts with you guys

Sorry, I'm rushed and can't read all that yet. But I can welcome. Welcome. You're a monkey. Monkeys are awesome.

That was an amazing introduction, I must say.

I too wish the 3DS was matte. Glossy is just a fingerprint whorse.
