Hey, been searching for a few days for a good 3DS forum, decided I liked this one!

I was one of the suckers that first picked up the 3DS at launch while the price was high & the good games were few. I was basically sold on the ''gimmick'' of 3D gaming on a handheld. I was sold on the spot after I tried the AR game cards in store. That dragon stuff blew me away!

After the first month of owning the 3DS, I traded it all back in because I just wasn't patient enough to wait for good games, & only Zelda had peaked by interest, but it was still months from release.

I picked up the Mario 3D Land bundle a few weeks back. Loving it so far, although the harder levels after you finish the game are driving me mad! The Ice White 3DS looks great also. Mario Karty 7 is fun, & Zelda is still a great game, I was afraid it might not of aged well.

Currently I'm excited for the new Resident Evil game. The demo has sold it to me. Apart from that, I haven't really looked that far ahead into new game releases. I mainly play on PS3, but I've always had a soft spot for Nintendo's hand helds. My guilty pleasure is Pokemon haha, but I haven't enjoyed one since Silver, I look forward to a 3D one

I think I'd strayed off the path a bit, seems like less of an introduction, & more like a blog entry haha.

I'll be adding my friend code in the matchmaking section, but feel free to add me, as I only have 1 friend on the DS


UPDATE: Forgot to say, I no longer think the 3D is a gimmick, it really enhances the game for me, especially in Zelda. The 3D videos are a great feature to, I look forward each week to the new releases.

Sadly I missed the ambassador program. After I traded it all in, I kinda lost interest in the system, & didn't even know about the program until recently. Pity I missed out. But I'm glad to be back on the scene, it's a great time to own a 3DS right now.

What games are you looking forward to being released in the near future?

At the minute, mainly just Resident Evil, as I'm a huge fan of the series. But I prefer the original games. I'd love a 3D version of the RE remake that was on the GameCube.

I'm looking forward to Kingdom Hearts. I'm not a massive RPG fan, but I think KH mixes RPG & action perfectly. I haven't played any of the KH on the DS before, so might the new one a go.

I see lots of people are talking about Kid Icarus, but I haven't a clue what it is, & the trailers so far, haven't really peaked my interest.

Other games that I'm interested in would be:

Rayman Origin.
Paper Mario.
Lugi's Mansion.

That Spirit Camera sounds like it could be good, but I don't know.

I'd like to see another Ghost Trick to.
