Newbie to the 3ds here! I am having a little internet connection trouble with my wi-fi for pokemon soul silver, I'llbe posting a thread about it in a moment! Hope to speak to you all soon

I am having alot of trouble getting my 3ds wi fi working properly though...basically I have done everyhing nintendo say to do, turn your router into wep rather than wap, set up wifi for the ds and the pokemon game itself, ont he ds it connects to the internet yet on the game set up it always fails? I have tried literally everything and I haven't had any luck All I can think is to either geta new router as mine might not be compatible with a 3ds OR get a wi-fi usb adapter and play through my PC...sorry for the big paragraph but I really want some advice on what to do next!
