hello ! name is keith...I work in the video game industry...I like to play music and play guitar in a thrash metal band...i joined this site because i love my 3ds, I bought it as a christmas present to myself (the zelda bundle) along with mario kart 7,super mario 3d and recently resident evil: rev . another reason I joined was to hopefully get some word on a competitive mario kart 7 circuit goin on...or people organizing one?...if anyone has information on this let me know...I saw one on the net but the site is not working and from the looks of it ...its set up by teams...and I dont have a team, just me. Im not opposed to starting a team though! anyways im friendly so feel free to message me!

I actually do have a question. Im not familiar with the term "friend code" what is this?...im assuming this is a something to do with the 3ds and linking up online for playing coop games and such. I would be very interested in helping organize some mk3ds comps if people are interested!!...Im actually competing in a gamestop employee only competition on the 13...Im pretty excited...and it will be good experence to see how they are setting it up for future reference i think.

Sharing and exchanging friend codes is the primary way to play a multiplayer game on the Nintendo server.
You can also see what friends are playing, what their favourite Nintendo 3DS game is, and if they're online or not.
Each system has it's own unique code, which you can share and exchange to build your friends list.
Each friends list has a 100 person limit though, so make sure you know who you want to keep or not.
