Default New To The Site and stuff...

Hey Everybody! Just got my 3ds with super street fighter 4! I need friends and friend codes. I would love to build a good network with my 3ds, and possibly gain long term friends,(rivals) to battle and trade. I'm a novice player just looking to have some fun. If interested please tell me. Thanks!

Wow, that was a much better response than I was hopin for. Thank you all for your hospitality. Uhm, so yea. This is actually my first forum experience so if anybody has any tips, feel free to show me the ropes. I'm still trying to understand reply vs. quick reply, and messages and all this forum-y stuff. And I also am not too familiar with the general conduct of who to get friend codes from and all that. So again, thank you!

Check out the areas in the 3DS Games board for where to post your friend code.

As for forum use itself, just try to get used to it with practice. And if you have questions, ask.

What has your experiences been like on here? I mean, do you all get questions answered? When you do register codes, is there any real connection/friendship with the other person? Is it impersonal? This is gonna sound lame but, I've been without video game buddies for a long time, and I've always admired xbox live for their humanized networking system. Don't have an xbox though. Really I'm just looking for friends to game with, not just fighting the same name over again. I dunno, sorry if this got a little heavy..

Most of the people here have no idea what they're talking about outside the 3DS, but when you're in that wheelhouse they're very knowledgeable.

Unfortunately, Nintendo's online system is still rough so you're not going to be experiencing a lot of personal bonds just from punching in a friend code. But, it's sure better than nothing. And you can use this forum as a substitute for communication to form relationships. If you have the right state of mind, you can get a lot of laughs even from the bad aspects.

Enjoy yourself, you'll be fine. Hit up the Chatbox too.
