Hello Urataka, welcome to the forums. I hope you enjoy this place.

To play music on your 3DS, do the following:

Insert the SD card into your computer and open files, you'll have 2 files reading "DCIM" and "nintendo 3DS" on this page right-click, select new > new folder, and name it something (like "music") then just copy and paste your music files and songs into this.

After doing the previous, open 3DS Sound application, then all the downloaded songs will show there.

Welcome to the forums! We hope you enjoy your stay and become a very active and informed member.
Why did you originally buy your Nintendo 3DS and what are your current thoughts on the system?

Need a compatible SD card or SDHC card
Need compatible music files (.mp3, .m4a, .mp4, .3gp)
Need an SD card slot on the PC or Mac or a commercially available SD card reader/writer

What to do:

1. Insert the SD card into the SD card slot or the SD card reader/writer.
2. Open Windows Explorer (for PC) or Finder (for Mac) and access the SD card.
3. Using Windows Explorer or Finder, access the location where the music files are stored.
4. Highlight the data and copy it to the SD card.

Do not place your music files in the Nintendo 3DS folder on the SD Card. Music files in this folder will not be visible when using Nintendo 3DS Sound.
Only folders with music files saved in them will be displayed. The maximum number of folders displayed is 1,000.
If there are two or more folders with the same name on an SD Card, the music files in those folders will be combined into one folder.
The maximum number of music files displayed is 3,000.
A maximum of 100 music files per folder will be displayed.
Folders and files with hierarchies deeper than eight levels will not be displayed.
Folder names are unrelated to hierarchy depth. They are displayed in numeric and alphabetical order.
Do you have any other questions? Feel free to ask and myself or another member will gladly answer or assist you.

Helloo! Funny how all the other new members come and greet you. Also, beat Sepharos to a post for once. You'll meet him in like a post or two probably.

DAMN IT! Never mind....
