How's it going, everyone? Yep, you guessed it; I'm new.
But that's not all! I'm also a girl, in college, and (surprise!) a Nintendo fan. If someone told me to explain my childhood in a nutshell I would respond with, "Mario, Zelda, and Starfox". No one has asked that yet, to my extreme disappointment.

There's something I have to get off my chest-- I don't actually own a 3DS. Alas! 'Tis the truth! Still, after lurking like a creeper around here for a while this looked like a cool forum so I joined anyway. Someday the 3DS will be mine... when Animal Crossing is released. Until then my hobbies include twiddling my thumbs and watching grass grow.

Hey there welcome! Don't worry about not having a 3DS yet... its still suffering from a game drought. =/ The only reason I got mine early was because I got the price cut and the free games. You're smart to wait until something you really want to play comes out. I went 3DS game hunting yesterday and walked away with 2 PSP games instead. XD

Yeah, it's a bummer how few games are available for the 3DS since it's been out for so long. At least 2012 will be a great year, and I know more than a couple people who plan to buy the system when more games are are released. That'll be true game hunting season. ;]

You kind of remind me of NintendoFanGirl, from Youtube, just from what you are saying.

Never heard of her before, but with that name I'd assume she's a longtime member of a forum like this.

Oh dear, where to begin?
It all started one cold winter morning with a lone black N64. The only light in the room was that of a television screen, for the sun had not yet risen. My siblings and I sat huddled together for warmth, enthralled by fantastical images flickering before our eyes. Then suddenly- MARIO! ZELDA! STARFOX! And, as they say, the rest is history.
