2012 New Year resolution thread

Since it's almost here post your new years resolution

Mine for this year is to try to avoid fanboys and console war comments, they never lead to anything good .

Hey does anyone know of some ways to insure you actually accomplish your new years resolutions? I'm starting to become more aware of myself and I realize that in order to get what you want out of life you have to make it happen. So I sat down and decided upon some things I wanted to change or accomplish next year, but I'm afraid I will lose the reserve I have. What are some ways I can insure I get them all done?


My list:
Read at least 5-8 books during the year
Finish at least half of a project Ive been working for the past two years(10% finished so far)
Focus hard in school an bring my GPA up to a 3.0-3.5
Meditate at least once a week for 30-60 minutes
Play less video games(I know it's sad, but I need to be more active in my life, our twenties are some of the most crucial points in our lives)
Paint at least once a month
Take more pictures
Have a more balanced diet to battle the usual stress and depression
Keep my apartment clean and organized
Write every day
Think less do more

Do you think there is any way I can get all of this done?

I'm going to quit smoking! And try to eat less junk food. o_o
And maybe save money...

Quit smoking (or smoke less) and move out of texas

My new year's resolution is to stop making
- too much jokes in class
And also limit myself to buying 3 games per console which is 3DS and PS3
because i already spent a thousand dollars this year on games so i have to limit myself like seriously

Also im going to try and eat less because im gaining weight.

Oh and of course do good in school

I need to start drinking less cans of soda. I'm afraid it's going to start wrecking my health if I keep it up.

No more impulsive buying. I have days where I just go crazy buying video games, movies, collectables and other various stuff online that I don't necessarily need.

Finally pay off my home loan, so I can save up a good amount of money to spend on a trip to meet a friend I've made from here.

Most importantly, finally do something to improve my current life situation.

I'll most likely not follow through with most of that, but I'm gonna try my best to.

My New Years Resolution was going to be find a job within January, but I just got one so that's out. I guess I could smoke less. I'm pushing two packs, I'm gonna try to go down to one.

Oh and I'm going to try and move out by the summer.
