Let me start off by saying I LOVE Street Fighter, and MvC series now I've played them all but I always hear people saying the new SF and MVC3 should have been in 2D but after playing MvC2 after MvC3 it honestly felt like utter ****. 2.5D (SSFIV, MvC3, SFxT) is alot better don't you guys think? I think games like Blazblue honestly suck...ever since SSFIV the 2D type old fighting games seem really boring now anyone else feel that way?

Nope, King of Fighters still going strong for me. KoF XIII probably has the best 2D sprites I've ever seen, they look really good.

No, I still love 2D fighters.

If a game has beautiful spritework, I'd probably prefer it over some 3D fighters. BlazBlue and Guilty Gear have some great spritework. MvC2, though, does not.

No, I LOVE 2D fighters because they usually have beautiful artwork and incredibly fluid animation nowadays. Ill take more animation over the bland 2.5D crap.

Stupid comparison. SFX was made at a time when 3D wasn't as polished as it is now. Honestly, having a fighter in 2D as apposed to 2.5D is a waste.
