So with all this talk of the next home console ALL over the internetz, I just thought there to myself, you know the way Ninty had Gameboy Players for the Snes N64 and GCN but not for the Wii. Do you think they will make a DS/3DS Player attatchment for the 'WiiHD'?
Since the graphics for the 3ds are pretty amazballs on a handheld I dont see why not, as the graphics for the GB/GBA were not the best but it was still great to play on your tv!!

I think they should do it, or even build a player it into the next console for ds and 3ds games.

sounds possible except for touchscreen controls. would you use motion control or use the ds/3ds as the controller?

Yeah I would enjoy that. Except this is assuming the screen on the controller is a touch screen. And it obviously wouldn't be in 3D. Idk it COULD work.

Yeah, and it could even work with the Wii since it does have the infared I/O. Nice!

doubt it . They might make something like how it is on PSN where u can buy PSP games but instead of PSP games it will just be DS .

like with our current wii, i'm shure there will bee DS to Console wireless conectivity. But having the WiiHD act as an emulator for a 3DS or DS game is unlikely. It would be akward to use the touch screen on the DS, and the TV screen act as the top screen.

I've heard rumors that the Wii HD controller is supposed to have a 6 inch touchscreen, so if that's true, then I'd say there's a chance of having 3DS player for the Wii HD.

I thought the same thing here: If the screen in controller rumor is true...

Only that the player would be built in out of the box.
