3DS Forums not as Active??

I don't if it's just me, but the forums have certainly died down, I don't if it's because people aren't as interested with the 3DS, or maybe the hype is incredibly down since people already have a 3DS, about 6 months ago the forums were being flooded. Personally I think that the 3DS was a let down in many aspects. Not as many games that are great and the content lacks. Has anyone else noticed this about the forums?

6 months ago was where major 3ds happened and most of the threads were just info threads or speculation threads.

And this forum doesn't look anywhere close to dying at all, maybe of horrible threads like barkis's, but not in quantity.

Make some threads, reply to some. Create some activity if you think its slowing down.

The people with more posts that you see are the cool kids that hung around.

I guess there were more active threads, for some reason it just seems like since people have already gotten the taste of what the Nintendo 3DS is, people aren't as active as they were.

I've been pretty inactive lately, but when I would come here wanting to post a new thread, there would be a similar one from like 4-5 months back and I wouldn't want to revive an old thread because I hate when people do that, so I go somewhere else (usually Facebook) and post it.

While I was not around during that time, since I've been here I have noticed a slight drop. It's probably as you say...a combination of disappointment and the fact that it's already out, therefor no more hype. Once people realized just what Nintendo released to the unsuspecting public, some moved on to greener pastures.

No worries, though. Once this holiday hits and we get Mario Kart, FC threads will start flying with new members who want a community. That and the discussions of all the other games being released, regardless of if they are wi-fi or not.

This place is still pretty active in my opinion. I mean the number of active forum members hasn't changed much (I think). I guess you could try searching for Aether's thread concerning community numbers and make comparisons if you care that much.

But there really isn't much to talk about now considering how the 3DS has been out for a few months and the fact that there aren't many big games released at this point. So much of the hype for the system might be gone, but like Rascal0302 posted, some more interaction might kick in once the holidays come.

Gotta prepare for those friend code request threads again, ahah~
