Default Is the Amazon seller wrong or is it my fault?

Hello guys, I am having a bad experience with a seller from Amazon.com, and I would like to know your opinions about it. I don't have anyone else to discuss about this besides my brother, but he will say it was the seller fault even though if I could be the wrong one.

Well, last week I bought "inFAMOUS 2 Hero Edition [Video Game]" from Amazon.com. 2 days ago I received my item, but it was just the backpack from the Hero Edition of the game, and it did not include the video game.
I told the seller, by email, that I chose the product from a list showing me just that product and not a backpack (you know that list that says like "50 new from $53.96") but he still says that I bought just a backpack.

However, my invoice, as well as the product picture, shows that I bought the video game, and not such a backpack, he still says that it was in the item description, but I don't see any description about it! Not even in my invoice it says that I am paying $60 for a backpack!

Now, he want me to ship the item to him, and put money inside the package to cover his shipping costs too. I believe this is not fair because if my invoice states that I bought a video game, and not a backpack, Why should I pay him his shipping cost too?

I told Amazon about this yesterday through its Amazon A-to-z Guarantee but I haven't received any answer yet.

What could I do about this? Am I the one who did the mistake? or it was the seller? Will Amazon or the seller return my money if I paid with a credit card?

I include here two pictures about the item I bought, plus my online invoice.

So, if the seller says that I am the one who did the mistake, shouldnt it have a picture of the backpack and a description of such backpack? Like "inFAMOUS 2 Hero Edition [Backpack]"? and a picture like this:

Thanks for your time guys, I don't buy from Amazon.com too much. I hope you can give me your opinions about this, and include bad experiences you have had if you want

Post a link to the page.

First of all don't post it back to him, just in case. And do not send money in the package, don't you do paypal or credit card?

If it is your mistake yes you would have to pay for postage again, if its his fault he has to pay.

A link to the page where he is selling this product? I can't, since it was the last one in stock, the link of such item like dissapeared lol, and if you click on the item, it takes you to the general inFAMOUS 2 Hero Edition page, and theres not description about just paying $60 for a backpack. Maybe it was Amazon fault? I would not like to ask them because maybe it was my fault after all, but as I said, I was looking for that game, I paid for that game, and my invoice shows I paid for that game, so I don't know what to do, and I don't have paypal, I rarely buy from the internet so I just used my credit card.
Thanks for the answer, if you mean another link tell me and I will try to post it here

Well basically if you don't have the page there theres not much evidence on what you really bought. If the title was "inFAMOUS 2 Hero Edition" then you get exactly what is in that edition, same as in a retail shop.

Put a complaint into Amazon. (I don't use Amazon, just eBay and a few Chinese sites)

You are showing us the description it says in your Account tab. What you should look back at, if you could is the description it said before you added it to the cart.

Like on the item page you can get on through Amazon search, and you probably clicked on X-number new/ used from $x.00...then it has all the resellers with different prices from lowest to highest...and some items have descriptions. You need to refer to that description, not the one in your account...it assumes you know the description since you bought it.

I am not saying it is your fault, but what you are giving us is the pic of the hero edition, the condition, and seller after you bought the item. I don't think Amazon shows the description of it after you bought it.

Yeah, it was put in the wrong place. Probably he couldn't find the backpack page to list his under, but if it says "Backpack only, no game" in the description that you can view before you even add it to your cart, then it is your fault. You cannot assume it is the item only by pictures and condition.

I'm referring to the descriptions in this link for example.

http://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listi...condition=used

Amazon.com: Used and New: inFAMOUS 2 Hero Edition
yea same as i was thinking. but it could of been most likely it was listed in the description as the backpack only. heres an example from that same link above for $60, same what you payed.

  • Seller: DeluxeGames
  • Seller Rating: Just Launched (Seller Profile)
  • In Stock. Ships from CA, United States. Expedited shipping available.
Domestic shipping rates and return policy.
  • items only Comes with Brand New Sling Pack,8.5" Limited Edition Cole Statue in packaging, Unused Super Voucher, Downloadable RED Soundtrack infamous 2 Video Game CASE, and Original Hero Edition Packaging

even though its most likely listed in the description, still i would complain to amazon and even tell them that it said video game Was included in the description even if you dont know. demand a refund and try another seller or go to a store n buy it
