Default Amazons Shipping Reliablity?
im considering buying the collectors edition of arkham city for the ps3 off amazon.co.uk. I live in ireland and im wondering if i will receive it on launch day if i use the highest speed shipping

Amazon has very fast shipping, and if you get release day shipping the product will get there on release day.

This is from my experience with Amazon US though, but I'm guessing Amazon is good in other countries as well.

there is no option for release day shipping just one which says 1-2 business days and it says it will be shipped on the 20th

I think outside the US, it really depends on how well your country manages shipping and all that stuff. But, if Amazon gives you an estimate delivery date, you can trust it will be accurate.

I have heard people say that Amazon UK normally has games 1 day pre-release at their door.

In the usa, i preordered the infamous 2 collectors edition on amazon because you couldnt at gamestop anymore. Anyways, i got overnight shipping and it was at my house at noon on launch day. i actually got it sooner than i wouldve if i had got it at gamestop after school.

Strictly in my experience, super-saver gets my games to me on launch day the few times I've used amazon for game pre-orders.
