Cool Any Metalhead Gamers?

Hey guys, I was just wondering if I'm one of the only ones on this forum that listens to metal (Megadeth, Metallica, Slayer, Anthrax, Black Sabbath, etc..) I don't know why but when I listen to metal it helps me concentrate on games like Mario Kart 7 so thats good

The only metal I really listen to is Black Sabbath and I don't listen to music while I am playing games; at least not in a while. Listening to metal while playing MK, or any other Mario game, seems a bit strange; it's just really unfitting for the bright and colourful styles of the games.

I know it's not very fitting, but listening to Megadeth just really pumps me up and gets me ready for the race

Not that kind of metal, though I still do enjoy it. I prefer bands like Amon Amarth, Children of Bodom, etc.

I do say that those are great bands, but im more of an old metalhead, i feel music was at its peek from 1970-1999

Well, I'm into a lot more than just metal these days, but I do qualify. I've seen all the bands you listed in the OP, with the exception of Metallica (I totally lost interest in them when they released the black album), along with so many more. I've also been in quite a few bands myself since I was a teen. Haven't done that in quite some time, though.

I used to be a total metalhead, but over the last few years I've really expanded my horizons. Nothing beats some Battery, though.
