Apple gets iphone and ipad parts from Samsung, so are they in a way biting the had that feeds them.

Apple sux, I remember they suede a few companies for copying the "touchscreen" from them only to find out they didn't invent it

im sry but i gotta go with apple on this one that looks EXACTLY like an iphone...except now its more open cause of android...if samsung wins, i will buy that awesome phone.

I like some apple products, but dislike as a company.

They are suing their partner who supplies them with parts, and to say that Samsung is copying them is crazy.

Well I suppose this is more of a play for market position than anything. Apple probably sees Samsung as a contender in terms of competition. This is most likely Apple's move to brush Samsung back. I hope Samsung wins.

I love Apple products, but I am disappointed that they throw their weight around just because they can. It stunts technological diversity!

I don't see why. Yes they are competition, but apple beats them. Mp3 makers? iPod has 70% of that market. Computer makers? Apple is third, only below HP and Dell. Smartphone makers? Has anyone come remotely close? No. Android is just now getting to the point where it's phones are outselling the iPhone, and there are dozens of smartphones running on android. Tablets? Right now the iPad owns that market, I think it has more marketshare than the iPod does in it's market.

So it would be silly to do it just for crushing competition.

I think that my mother has that phone, and by surprise, I wasn't sure if it was an iphone or not, but I still hate this dumb suing agh!
