So, let me start this off with a little backstory:

Last night, I posted on Facebook about how much I was enjoying Skyward Sword. Almost right away, an apparently dense friend commented, stating that Skyrim was better. Of course I laughed, replying "apples and oranges lol". He then attempted to argue with me, and eventually turned it into a console war. (I didn't fight back, cause it wasn't worth my time)
Ridiculous comparisons like this really grind my gears. Yes, they're both games, and yes, they're both new, but that's about as far as it goes (in my mind, at least). Some people are just so silly.

That being said, what's the most ridiculous comparison you've ever heard? This doesn't just go for games. It may be comparing an animal to a person, a small event to a tragedy, etc.

Keep it within the rules, too. That'd be nice.

Once, the same thing happened to me before Skyward Sword was released, I was chatting with my friends and telling them how wonderful Skyward Sword is looking in the trailers, and then all of a sudden a guy from the nearby class joined us and started bashing SS and telling us how Uncharted 3 was superior to SS, and he said that the game looks like a PS1 game, I ofcourse did not respond and ignored him, because I wasn't ready for a console war.

I hate it when those disgusting fanboys bash other things, just because they don't own them, Losers.

Probably the stupidest comparison ever, Two Bands with COMPLETELY different sounds yet people compare the two just because they wear masks. Two Completly different sides of the spectrum.

The worst comparison I have ever been told was Pokemon to (I think it was yoghurt).

I don't remember what the guy said, actually, I don't think he realised what he had just said. I was 9 and I'm pretty sure I just got told I was too old for Pokemon.
