YouTube - ‪Battlefield 3 - Full Length "Fault Line" Gameplay Trailer‬‏

I got into a debate with my friends today they said Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 was better I said Battlefield 3 was better so I thought why not ask you guys so I can possibly rub in in their faces.

Clearly we can give an adequate opinion when the goddamn games aren't even released yet.

Om which do you think will be better. Though those two videos showed of lots of gameplay probably enough to make a judgement.

Actually we can't because MW3's trailer is mostly cinematic and barely shows any gameplay.

That said, I'm convinced MW3 isn't really that much different from its predecessors, so BF3 with its destructible environment will be the better of the two in my eyes, but that isn't saying much as I have a severe distaste towards tactical shooters. I'm not saying they're bad, it's just not my thing.

Yeah that's because COD MW3 is using the same engine from COD4 MW while Battlefield 3 looks amazing due to it using the brand new Frostbite 2.0.

I plan to rent COD and I get Battlefield for free from my friend that works at EA

I'm not a huge FPS fan, but I've always liked Battlefield's HUUUGE battlefields instead of the "small" maps in games like CoD. Also Battlefield 3 looks amazing, so I'll go with that :P

I think it's pretty cool that the Battlefield 3 gameplay had better graphics than the Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 cutscenes. Pitiful on COD's side though...

I'll say Battlefield 3 going to be better Their are many Cods now to be excited for at least for me and I like the combat in battlefields games better than cods give you more options on how you want to play.

Anyone who claims either is better at this point is an idiot, just to be clear. You can't compare games that have yet to be released.

That said, I'm looking forward to MW3 the most, though it's a close call. I enjoy the fast paced shooting that the MW series is known for, and adding that to it's extrememly nutty and awesome campaign as well as it's superb multiplayer history, I believe MW3 will be my go-to shooter this christmas. Can't wait to see what DICE does with BF3's campaign, though.
