Since the dawn of time, one familiar red-capped plumber has shown his face to people around the world, and has gained universal acclaim. This guy... was Mario, the mascot of Nintendo. When the DS launched in 2004, it was obvious that this Mario would get a role in a video game. But not just ANY number of games... 3 games... and you shall decide which is the best!

Super Mario 64 DS: As a launch title for the system, this was a remake of Super Mario 64 for Nintendo 64. However, it included improved graphics, better gameplay, wireless, and 3 more playable characters.

New Super Mario Bros: Later came New Super Mario Bros., a game a la the classic Super Mario Bros. side-scrollers for the NES and onward, where you moved Mario left and right, jumping and crouching, to fight Bowser & his son to save the Princess.

Mario Kart DS: Often thought to be one of if not the best game for the DS, this installment in the Mario Kart takes racing to a wacky level in the Mushroom Kingdom with a bunch of playable characters and first-ever online play for the series.

Bowser's Inside Story is the only one I really found to be worth playing.
Partners in Time was the weakest of the trilogy due to it's linearity, New Super Mario Bros was just an extremely mediocre game in general, 64DS was a lame port, and I kind of avoided the spinoffs. The competition isn't much.

You seem to be missing some games. Bowser's Inside Story, Partners in time, New SMB. Are you baseing the poll off of your opinion?

I forgot how to edit the poll as I was about to add an "Other" option as well. Do you know how?

It would be a tie with Super mario 64 DS/yoshi's island DS :P

Super Mario 64 DS is the best Mario game yet, especially on the 3DS with the slide pad. New Super Mario Bros (DS) is my favorite 2D Mario game, followed by Super Mario Bros 3.

Mario 64 through nostalgic, found controlling horrible tho with the d-pad, and the extra content ( heads and that dragon green dude start instead of mario ) was kinda ennoying me to hell.

Still by far the better game for me. Found mario bros ( 2d ) version fun for a few hours. as you walked so fast through it. It was just way lesser content.


Mario kart again the controlling i found horrible, and i just couldn't get in it at all. I always was playing it and thinking by myself. Those NPC runs are boring ( already found that in n64 area ). I wanna play online against 10 other dudes.

It kinda felt goofy, so its probably my least from the list.
