okay if you guys want to know how to see some awesome pop-out 3d on the 3ds with pilotwings heres how:
when you either get the meca-hawk diorama (which you gat by getting at least 3 stars on all missions) or the windmill diorama (which i is 40 stunt rings in the plane) view either, though meca-hawk is preferable, and change the view so you have a straight birds eye view of the diorama and hold down x so it zooms in lots.

in the windmill diorama the windmills stick out about a centimetre or two, but in the meca-hawk if you get a good angle it sticks out at least 8-10 centimetres, and it still looks extremely solid and quite amazing.
try it out!

i say just the game in general is a great example of pop out 3D. that and monkey ball, all the other games i've played so far are more subtle, but monkeyball and pilotwings are very much in your face.
