The TV show that is. This is one of my favorite shows at the moment, absolutely love it.

My favorite character is Sheldon, hes the typical nerdy guy that is extremely book smart but has no common sense. My least favorite is Penny because shes a skank.

I wouldn't call her a skank lol. I have been watching since season 3. Is 5th confirmed?

Before I saw the show I thought it would be a really dumb sitcom, but then somebody recommended it to me and I really enjoyed it. Still haven't seen season 4 yet, waiting for it to come on Netflix.

ONe of the ONLY "sitcoms" I watch. Sitcoms are the dumbest things on tv IMO. All jokes have been done before.

Big Bang Theory is awesome because its all nerdy crap, and Sheldon is the best character on that show. I mean, Blossom is on the show now BLOSSOM, thats funny to me.

I really like that show as well! I don´t really have a favorite character though; I think they all need the others to be funny. And they succeed at it very well

Yes, I LOVE this show. It's my 2nd favorite show on TV right now (the 1st being Curb Your Enthusiasm).

I've seen all the episodes and DVR the new ones. Sheldon is the best! Except for the voice, my wife says I'm EXACTLY like Sheldon, in how I act, think, talk, and behave towards others. It's pretty funny. I'm actually sitting here at work wearing a Sheldon "Bazinga!" shirt.

I don't really have a favorite episode, I love them all really.

Anyone who watches this show REALLY needs to check out BBC's "The IT Crowd". Also, a VERY funny, VERY geeky show. I LOVE that one too, really funny.

I have watched it, and I don't understand how anyone could find it funny

I don't really like sitcoms that much, but my two favorites are How I Met Your Mother, and then Big Bang Theory. I enjoy Big Bang Theory because my whole family watches it, and each person has a different reaction. My dad, sister, and I are usually caught up on tech and movies, with me and my sister being more in video games. While my mom thinks a lot of parts are weird because she doesn't get the references or jokes.

All in all though, I like How I Met Your Mother because of the characters, especially Neil Patrick Harris.

I love it. When the show first began airing and I saw commercials, I thought it looked soooo stupid and "sign of the times". Then, I saw the episode where Sheldon plays the card game against Wil Wheaton and found that the show wasn't what it was initially advertised as and seemed: a low brow comedy about a few dweebs trying to get laid (which I imagine they had to tout it as such to appeal to the mainstream American TV audience).

I began watching full time late in the 3rd season and have been hooked since. A great show. And yeah, Jim Parson (Shelton) is awesome. I saw a Sheldon shirt the other day that said "Dr. Sheldon Cooper. One lab accident away from being a super villain". I could totally see that. XD
