Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Gameplay Trailer - PC News at IGN

Before I say anything, I must respectfully ask that the various CoD haters on this site to not spam this thread with your...views. I recall posting my excitement for BF3 on the Battlfield 3 thread and I don't seem to remember that turning into a "CoD is better then BF LOLOLOLTROLOLOL"

That said, what do you think of the trailer? The exciting, explosive and fun campaign from MW2 looks like it's going to get even better...and crazier, especially where the plot is concerned. The trailer shows little gameplay, but between the different locals and emphasis on destruction, I'd say this is going to be the most visceral CoD yet.

I also thought the very end was a neat little touch, with the text flipping upside down.

As you know I LOVE COD!!!!!!

For COD it's not that bad but it's still not great. It's a sad sad thing that even though Battlefield 3 is much better than this it will still outsell BF3 by miles. You know today two friends of mine in tutor time said Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 is way better than Battlefield 3 and I just couldn't believe what has happened to gamers. Anyways hopefully the n-space 3DS game that comes out later this year will be Call of Duty MW3 because the 3DS needs the sales boost.

Battlefield 3 seems to look a lot more exciting that this.

I don't know whether to say that this game is going to stink because I think Call of Duty is overrated, or go with the flow and say "HECK YES!!! I LUVS BLUD & GOREZ!", so I'm gonna go with the next best thing...

Why? MW2 was terrible on DS.

That trailer was actually pretty cool. Very cinematic and nice touches with the text manipulation.
But the question is: Does the game have historical figures fighting Nazi zombies?

Gathering from the information that has been leaked, it won't. Spec Ops is going to return with two modes: The normal, misson based one from MW2 and a Horde-like mode, where players fight off an ever increasing wave of enemies.

To be quite honest, I'm glad they decided to do that then another Zombies. Treyarch was awesome for making it in WaW, I played it like crazy, and it is fun in BO, but I can't say it has the same impact that WaW did, at least for me. I'd rather have IW focus on Spec Ops, and Treyarch can continue the Nazi zombies.
