Is anyone a fan of the game Chess? I love it, and I play competitively. I'm just curious to see everyone on the forum's opinions. I know a lot of people here are into strategy games like these.

If so, are you in a Chess Club of some sort? I go to the chess club at my school.

I play chess everyday at school. Although I don't usually have a permanent strategy, I keep my pieces safe.

I used to be in chess club but my new school doesn't have one.

I used to play chess but I don't much anymore(mostly cause I have no one to play). I am still okay at it though
I beat everyone I play!(sometimes even people who know how to play )

I was the captain of my high school chess team, which finished 7th in the Supernational championship. I haven't played a lot the last few years so I'm not quite as good as I used to be. It would be cool if we could organize some matches or something.

I love chess. I always used to play it w/ my friend during lunch, but the administrators have removed our privilege to even get out of our seat.

So is anyone interested in Go?

Sort of want to give Go a shot, but I've completely sucked at understanding everything ever about the thing.

As for chess, I recall loving chess. I haven't played in what must be... seven years now, maybe, but it sure was fun.

chess is one of my favorite board games. i don't often play it however because I can never usually find anyone that either is interested in playing or is smart enough to be a challenge. not to sound conceited or anything, lol. I'm no Bobby Fischer myself, but I am a good skill level or two above those that I know personally, so I usually resort to playing the computer, whenever it is that I do play.

i can't wait until my sons are old enough to learn, they seem like the type that might like a challenge such as chess.
