Hey. So, I saw a thread about Nerdcore, and I thought I'd post a thread about another video game-styled music genre, chiptunes. Chiptunes are basically any song that is styled after old video games, using simple synthesizers and samples to give a very 'old-school' feel. However, chiptunes can also be more modern, and need not sound only like video games, but can also be dance, hip-hop, break, electronic, ambient, etc. Here are a couple:

One musician that is fairly popular is Dubmood. Dubmood has been creating music for quite some time, and he is very talented. Zabutom is another musician that is awesome in his own right. There are loads of songs made by both of these musicians that should be checked out.
