Lightbulb College

Who else is going to be a college freshman this coming semester?

(By the way, I live in the US and I begin attending my college in late August. It's probably different in other countries.)

I would also like some advice from older members who are currently enrolled or have already graduated from college.

Thanks!

Schedule early especially for classes that have a lab. I had to go to Physics labs before 8 AM every Thursday for months. I hated waking up those days...

Remember that grades aren't everything. If you're anything like me, you're going to fail a bunch of quizzes. It's so easy to in some classes like Calc. Don't beat yourself over it. Just move on.

It's best to realize that a major isn't for you as early on as possible. You don't want to go the pre-med route with a bio major just to realize in your Junior year that none of it is for you.

What are you majoring in and what do you plan to do afterwards?

Also, what kind of college is it?

I'm going to University (and yes, there is a difference here) in September. It's called the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design (NSCAD). It's super spiffy and extremely hard to get in. Go me!

Aw man, so I'm having some MAJOR problems with colleges. So I know I'm definitely going this year. But I'm still not exactly sure where.

It's a private college.
