Something is wrong with my computer. I don't know what, but there is. Antivirus hasn't been able to help. Is there something that can scan my computer and tell me or something? I recently had to system restore, but that only made it worse and now it won't let me control the volume. Help please?

McAfee.It is a good virus protector it will display ceckmark next to safe websites.

Sure your internet speed is low,wait no that would not affect sleep mode maybe you need a new computer,or a temporary location to use a computer, local library perhaps.

Seems to me your windows is messed up, reinstall it.

yeah your OS is screwed. sometimes that happens when a virus infects the .exe file(s) of your OS, and your antivirus accidentally deletes that file along with the virus, screwing up windows. OR, it might be a rootkit.

Like said you should re-install your OS. Also I use a program called Tuneup Utilities and it keeps my computer pretty healthy, it tells you problems with your system and it also fixes them. I also use Avast Antivirus. You might want to try these programs too. I find they are very helpful.

You should try AVG 2012 anti-virus. It is good.
