Exclamation Cosplayers Wrath!

These days, mexican otakus and cosplayers (and from some other places) are really upset against some tv show, called "La Rosa de Guadalupe"..."La Rosa de Guadalupe" is a special programming that occasionally airs on Televisa's channel that covers a variety of social, family, political issues from a mostly conservative point of view; now the reason is that this show featured and episode today, wich makes them looks like abnormals, childish, and that they believe they actually are (?) the characters they impersonate in their cosplays, also, according to this, they dress up this way at school, street at home, and guys like to rape cosplayer girls LOL...look by yourself:

Im not otaku nor cosplayer, but i think this kind of shows only create a negative (and wrong) image of youth and their different tastes...what do you think? is the otaku's wrath worth it?

It's funny, because Hispanics tend to be extremely judgmental when it comes to things like this. My family would make fun of me and say the same types of things if I went to a cosplay. Our community can be pretty close-minded at times and it's sad. ;/
