Default Is curfew a problem where you live?

I live in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, USA. The police around here are always intimidating people to watch their curfew even when they're clearly 17 or older. I was once walking outside in Wauwatosa at around 8:30pm, not even passed curfew and I was already 18 anyways, a police car pulled up in front of me and one of the cops said, "watch that curfew boy" and I just said, "But I'm 18 though" and they just drove off after that comment. What is wrong with some police anyways, is there nothing better to do now a days except intimidate people to watch their curfew even when they don't have one?

No, in the part of Europe where I live people have a thing called freedom and society isn't [mis]guided by fear.

The only curfew I have is the one my eyes impose upon me- when it becomes an effort to keep them open. I actually had no idea there were authority controlled "curfews" in North America still. Thought that went out of style when we stopped saying 'gee wilakers' and 'the bees knees'.

There is no national curfew in the US. If anyone has curfews it is a local ordinance, their city or county council passed it.

I don't think there's a curfew here in Sydney, Australia well at least none that i know of. Although, now that i think of it a curfew may not be too bad an idea.

^ Pretty much what he said.

Actually I think having a curfew is not a bad idea so that my brother will always come home early without me trying to call him all the time LOL...

Curfews are locally imposed and enforced.

I tend to go to bed around 11 PM anyways at the absolute latest...I don't know how anyone can stay up past then. I'm just too damn tired.
