Default Dealing with illness, syndromes, and life?

It is a big world. The majority of people go through their days dealing with numerous things. Things that makes life worth living, rips happiness out of you, brings smiles, incites anger and everything in between.

I "suffer", "have", whatever the going thing is, Bi-Polar Syndrome. It is classed as the "Rapid Cycle" variety. Not only does my emotions tend to control me and cause me to question which one is real, but it does so at an accelerated rate. Thankfully, talking, and medications help bring myself into what is "normal" for me. Happy go lucky, laughing, pouring cold water on my wife when she is in the shower, self.

Sometimes, quite often actually, it is difficult, but being positive can bring me through it.

How many others on here have to deal with some sort of illness, syndrome, or any other form of curveball that tries it's damndest to bring you down but find ways to push through it? What do you have to push through and how do you find your way through it?

Here is a chance for us all to share, and vent, and more.

I guess I'll be the first to reply.
I've had constant insomnia for about 5 months now. It's not ordinary either, because I don't worry about school or work, I worry about the simple fact of going to sleep and staying asleep. At one point I became obsessed with worrying about sleep, but I've seemed to be able to control myself now.
Take yesterday for example: I went to bed at 10:45, but I didn't fall asleep until around 11:00. Then I woke up at 2:00, and now I can't go back to sleep. I have a long and exciting day ahead of me today, and I'm not going to let my thoughts ruin it. However, what does worry me a little, is the fact I'm going to have to be awake roughly 22 hours on a 3 hour sleep. I've done 22 hours on a 4 hour sleep, so that sort of reassures me.
Perhaps I'm just too anxious and silly, but this is something I fight everyday. :P

i have depression, anxiety and panic disorder.

i get the feeling there is an undiagnosed personality disorder going on there but i'm not really too curious as to what it is.

it is ****ty, i try not to let it get me down but it sometimes does.

the best thing for me has been a loving and caring boyfriend who can deal with my outburtsts/breakdowns etc.

hope everyone else is keeping strong xxxxx

I have Orthostatic Hypotension (Fall of bloof pressure when standing after resting) it really annoys me, this thing started happening to me three years ago and now it's becoming really bad and I'm starting to faint sometimes because of it, medical websites and wikipedia mentioned that fainting happens rarely to people with orthostatic hypotension, but in my case it's happening once or twice in a month and I'm really worried now

I have Asperger's Syndrome and it kinda sucks and is awesome at the same time.

It sucks in that I suffer socially and won't open up until I get close with someone. It's awesome in that I think extremely logically and I take pride in my mind because of this.
