| In conversation, digressing into extreme and/or unnecessary detail about one’s passion (music, coding, gaming) to an otherwise uninitiated layperson, without awareness or acknowledgement of the listener’s rapidly waning interest or lack of understanding of the subject at hand. Clyde held Stella’s attention briefly, until he began nerdjacking the conversation by talking about World of Warcraft for 4 uncomfortable minutes. I admit it, I sometimes do this. |

| Nahh, I wouldn't put that kind of thing on these forums.

I do it, but sneakily. I try to pique the person's curiosity, like by asking him/her what kind of music he/she likes, and then expect that they'll ask me what kind of music I like in return. Then I answer and they're like "I've never heard of that genre before," and then I can explain it.

it depends who I'm talking to. Especially with video games, it's RARE to find someone who even knows what that is where I'm from. ( I mean people with PS3's Xbox's and Wii's etc..) I try not to though, I control myself sometimes. xD |

No, but my friends do it all the time. I even tell them I stopped listening, and they keep on going LOL.

Yes, usually when someone brings up civil commitment as held under the Comstock decision. (For those of you not in the know, it allows the state to hold sexual predators, such as pedophiles, indefinitely for 'treatment' after their prison sentence is up.) I do not agree with the decision, and I do not like the fact that SCOTUS extended the Necessary And Proper Clause to have its own power, overturning 200 years of prior Supreme Court decisions in the process. |
