According to a dadzoo.com article, he has been noticing some more recent kids in the world spelling "We" and "Wii"? Do you know anyone who is doing this? Are they doing it as a joke or do they genuinely not know the difference between a console and 'We'?

I would hope its a joke. At this rate, kids will be incredibly dumb when it comes to analog life (like doing things with your hands) and too smart when it comes too digital life.

Little kids make misspellings all the time- ESPECIALLY with homonyms.

Consider how many Wii's there are in the world I don't find this surprising at all.

I've never spelled we "wii". However, I'm sure you could find wii on someone's kindergarden letters.
