Whenever I decide to go to a website, I just type the website name followed by .com, .org, .net, etc. I never type www. "something" .com. How many people actually still type for example, www.3dsforums.com? Because I just type, 3dsforums.com, I don't even bother with "www." anymore, I think the "www." system should just be thrown out anyways because you don't even need to use it to go on websites anymore.

Nope, in fact, I never use the URL bar anymore. I've always just googled every time I needed to go to a site.

I only type it for the select few websites which insist on it.

Some sites don't even use "www" anymore. 3DSForums being one of them. So basically, writing www at the beginning of 3dsforums.com is pointless.
