Default Dragon Ball Game Project Age 2011

CHECK OUT THE OFFICIAL SITE HERE

I'm so excited! Most Dragon Ball games are loveless money grabbers. It looks like they're actually trying with this one though. Maybe we'll see this or it's inevitable sequals on the next Nintendo home console?

Wasn't there going to be a Dragon Ball title coming to 3DS?

Absolutely, it was on the initial list given by Nintendo so we should be seeing some kind of news on that at E3 I'm guessing.

I actually think the Tenkaichi style of play would work really well on the 3DS. I'd like to see a port of Tenkaichi Tag Team or something for the 3DS.

Nice avatar, by the way :P

Here's Namco Bandai's initial release list
E3 2010: Namco Bandai Games Announces its Initial 3DS Line-Up - 3DS News @ Nintendo Life

I'm hoping it's a fighter and not an "origins" game.

Thanks, you too

I actually haven't played many Dragon Ball video games, i've been planning on getting some for PS2 and i can't wait until the Earth's Special Forces mod is released so it would be great if they announce a 3DS DB title at E3.

As for Project Age i'll keep a look out for when there is some gameplay footage but i think i'll start with the earlier DB fighting games first; well i do have 3 on SNES (although i can only play one of them until i get a better import converter) but they are quite different from the DB games of today.

Yeah, I'm not a fan of the traditional 2D Dragon Ball fighters, which is why I thought Tenkaichi was so revolutionary, it's not like any other fighter which is why I'm happy they're sticking with the style. It's kind of like Zelda on crack with combos.

Best SNES Dragon Ball game was the first one, the RPG called The Legend of the Super Saiyan. That was so fantastic I'd like to see a return to a free roaming story mode with RPG elements.

Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3 for 3DS would keep me busy for ages. 3D would work flawlessy with that game. The massive environments... seeing your enemy dash toward you from afar with real depth. Hell yes.

With Street Fighter X Tekken seeing a probable 3DS release (a game released by Namco Bandai), maybe this one will receive similar treatment...? Perhaps its reaching, but who knows... but I really don't see them passing up the appeal of a 3D DBZ Fighter on a new Nintendo handheld. Especially after both Dimps' and Spike's admirable attempts to push the PSP to its hardware limits... now they could easily port B3 or BT3 without the bat of an eye. Call me weird, but I'd actually prefer this over something new..
