I just got DQ IX and only about an hour into the game which I am really liking so far.

One thing that is kind of bugging me is during battles, the battle text information goes away in like 1 second and you don't get a chance to read what it says, is there a way to slow this down?

Yes, go to options and set text to slower, or something like that.

Please be more wary of where you make threads. A thread about a DS game does not belong on 3DS game subforum.

My mistake I have a 3DS but I am playing a DS game, I will be more cautious.
