Question Facebook Privacy Question

Is there any way to hide things you post on facebook from ONE person who is your friend?

Without defriending..?

Google is failing me on this one.

Thanks!

Yep, defriend him. And make sure you have it set to Friends Only.

Under the button where it says "share with friends" or whatever. Click on custom. And it has an option for "hide from these people".

Facebook is for people who actually want to stay in contact with their friends.

I dont understand why you need facebook to be in contact with them? what are cell phones for and emails? why make everything so public with facebook? not to mention all the info to corporations on better ways to take your money..

You don't have to make everything "public". That's what the privacy settings. If you want to block 3 of your friends from seeing your status, you can do that, if you only want 4 friends to see your status, you can do that. And if you really wanted to, you could make your whole profile private for everyone except yourself, so nobody but you could see it. And people seem to check their Facbook much more than they check their email, so you can send private messages to people. And you don't always know their email or phone number, where as looking up their Facebook account is usually pretty easy. And it's also easier for group discussions. Posting a status is basically to start in a open conversation with all of your friends you choose to share the status with. And posting pictures of yourself or other things in your life for others to discuss.. Or starting up events and then inviting anybody on your friends list that you want to come. And the pages you "like" can be like an open place to discuss things with others who also like the same stuff.
