Default Facebook Valuation

What do you think about facebook's valuation of around $70 billion and planning a $100 billion IPO in early 2012? Mark Zuckerberg owns approximately 1/4 of Facebook, putting his current net worth around $18 billion, slightly ahead of Google cofounders Larry Page and Sergey Brin at the moment.

To put it in perspective here are the market caps of a few large companies:
Apple: 348 billion
Microsoft: 208 billion
Walmart: 185 billion
Google: 168 billion
McDonalds: 92 billion
Amazon: 87 billion
Bank of America: 70 billion
Goldman Sachs: 55 billion
Dell: 27 billion
Adobe Systems: 11 billion

What do I think? That it will come to an end eventually. Something else will replace facebook someday. I would cash out my shares. NOBODY needs more than 18Billion dollars, hell, no one NEEDS a billion dollars.

I would cash out, and live the rest of my life helping people.

Yeah...Google + could be big, still not sure whether it's enough to knock Facebook off its throne, but there's definitely room for one more "big social network".

Wow. Talk about the American dream. From a nobody to one of the richest men on Earth. Congrats, Zuckerberg.

Zuckerberg is going to be an even richer asshole. I hope he enjoys it.

Don't the old social networking giants usually fall to the weird up and comer? That would make Facebook collapse before Google+ soars to new heights.

I'm sure it will probably knock Facebook off it's throne eventually. There are missing features but google+ is still technically in beta.
