SO I wanted to get out of the whole press conference and slide-pad topics and dive into something new. I've been thinking about this a lot. Lets say you prefer the 3ds over another microsoft's 360walk ( I made up the 360walk, so there won't be any flamewares lol) and you think it is better, for you, than the 360walk. Going by what a lot of people say on here that would make you a fanboy. But as long as you know that another console has its points too. So basically its like this.

Fanboy1: I love my 3ds, and I think its better than the 360walk. But I also recognize that the 360walk is also a great system for others and that the 3ds being better is just my opinion.

That shouldn't be a bad thing right? Now on the other hand....

Fanboy2: 3DS3DS3DS! BEST SYSTEM EVAR! That stuipid 360walk sucks!.

This(^) is where I can see that fanboys would be very annoying.

Anyway what is your thoughts on this?

Yeah, I remember when I was a 3DS fanboy. Definitely not good. All consoles have their pros and cons.

Yea, the first guy definitely isn't a fanboy at all, yet you will see some people say he is just for the part about liking the 3ds better. Plus you aren't a fanboy if you think Nintendo should still be a gaming company.

To me a fanboy is someone who will defend a company to death and bashes another simply because they want to justify their own purchase. There's no problem liking a certain thing as long as you're not blindly bashing everything else.

Of course they will, but that doesn't make it true at all. Just like fanboys can't accept that anything else other than that company's is good, some people can't accept that you can't find good and bad things about a company, but still like them.

Apple and Sony fanboys are the worst kind.
