Fanboys. I pity them because they consciously limit their vision and options. I used to be a Nintendo fanboy around the time of the Gamecube. Until I bought a PS2 at the end of its lifecycle and it opened my eyes.

Loving something is not the same as being a fanboy. I love my PS3, but I won't blindly defend Sony at all costs (au contraire) nor will I limit my gaming options to PS games and make up all sorts of excuses to rationalize my choice to others on a forum...

Exactly. More people need to think this way. Limiting your gaming to one platform is silly.

Fanboys are the worst. But I also hate people that just throw the word "hater" out to anyone that dislikes something.

I consider hater as someone who hates something because it's popular or successful, so I'd say they're equally annoying.
