If there's a thread like this I apologize because I just checked to see if there was one like this and couldn't find it. Anyways, what's your favorite Mario Kart game? I still think Double-dash is the best Mario Kart game by far, the way two players could go in one car with each character having their own specials, it hasn't been matched in any more recent Mario Kart in my opinion. I also feel Double-dash had the best levels of any Mario Kart game with levels like Daisy Cruiser, Dino Jungle, etc. What's your favorite Mario Kart and why?

Tough, I have much love for the original. And while it is the redheaded stepchild of the series, I have fond memories of Double Dash.

But in the end I'll have to go with Mario Kart DS. I feel it was the best, and I put a LOT of time in on it. Now if only the online games weren't full of Action Replay hacks... YOU DO NOT GET 5 BULLET BILLS IN A RACE IN FIRST PLACE!

Wii! They just keep getting better, IMO.
Plus, I STILL find myself playing online all of the time.

The wii!!! It has the best tracks, best cars and bikes... which i love... the best graphics, and the best drives, and the online experience is the best that I have seen on any other game on the wii!

The poll is missing Super Mario Kart and Mario Kart: Super Circuit.

But Mario Kart 64 will always be my favorite.

Double Dash, played it alot with my brothers.

To be fair though, never played 64, didn't play the DS/Wii ones that much.

Mario Kart 64's multiplayer was the best IMO. Therefore I choose that one.

MKDS. MKWii is my least favorite, the items are too overpowered. You can get hit by a red shell and go from first to last.
