What are some of your fav thanksgiving and christmas traditions? For me:

Thanksgiving:
-The Thanksgiving dinner cheeseball (family secret recipe)
-The pink salad (my secret recipe-not really salad, it's made of sweet stuff)
-Everyone choosing to either be a pilgrim or indain for the dinner-including hand-made hats!
-Watching Macy's Thanksgiving day Parade on TV

Christmas:
-Reading "The Night before christmas" - on the night before christmas
-One christmas present on christmas eve
-Getting a tree on the day after thanksgiving
-The Christmas Cheeseball (same one as thanksgiving)
-Watching Home Alone and the Santa Clause with the family

Thanksgiving
I really like the seemingly endless food and the leftovers. Sometimes the day goes by really slow, and I get to bask in the thick atmosphere of love and happiness. Everyone is always happy on Thanksgiving. I like seeing people that I barely get to see. No school.

Christmas
I love sitting by the fire waiting for dawn to break. I sometimes watch the sunrise and think of everything good in my life. I don't really care much for the presents any more since I'm 21 and they won't be as good as they once were, but I really like getting stuff for people and watching them smile. I like cuddling with a cute girl when it gets cold. It doesn't matter if I love her or if she's just a one time thing, as long as she shuts up and cuddles when it's cold then I feel very loving towards her. Luckily I'm in a close relationship now so I don't have to worry to much about it. No school.

Thanksgiving-Food and football.
Christmas-Food, football, video games, and presents.

Thanksgiving:
Dinner with dads side of family
Turkey
The desserts, got to LOVE the desserts!
Then immediately after do the same thing with mom's side of family

Christmas:
Playing gift games with family
Christmas is at OUR house this year!
Food
Dessert again!

AH, this makes waiting for Thanksgiving even harder!

Staying at my grandparents'
Waking up early, small breakfast during Macy's Parade
Thanksgiving Dinner
Cherry Coca-Cola Salad (In-credible)
Family walk after Dinner
Chex-Mix and Alastair Sim's Christmas Carol
Turkey sandwiches for lunch the day after

Christmas:
Bing Crosby christmas LP playing through house
Hanging the garland along the balcony and stairs
Visiting grandparents again
Caroling with our church choir
Refusing to take down our tree 'til late Jan. - early Feb.

Christmas
-Family being together
-Seeing others be happy
-Yummy dinner (I love brussels sprouts)
-The snow?
-Alcohol? (as long as I don't go too far with it)
Not necessarily presents anymore, but I do appreciate what people get me.

And for thanksgiving, I'm not from the US, so yeah.

Thanksgiving:
-Go to my grammy rose's house
-meet my cousins
-eat
-do random stuff after.
-Play our DS's.

Christmas:
-(EVE) go to our grammy syc's
-(EVE) Do christmas games and unwrap presents from our family members.
-(EVE) Go to church.
-Wake up and run to the XMAS tree
-unwrap our things
-hug and say our biggest thank you's to our parents.
-meet our grandparents
-go to our grammy rose's house
-show off meh stuff to my cousins
-eat
-go home
-zonk out on the bed.
